I caught it. It snuck up on me in the early afternoon of yesterday. I was unprepared, thinking I had a few more weeks before it found me.
I was wrong.
The nesting bug is in full control. I spent my entire afternoon planning the nursery, to such an extent that the old plan I had in the back of my mind got tossed out like a dirty rag! It consumed my thoughts all evening, even while crocheting. I have such a design itch that I want to get started now! Get it all put together like the incredible picture in my mind, ohh if you could see it. Don’t worry you will. When a design enters my head, it will be accomplished, down to every lavish detail, but done on a budget! As always.
But this bug has gone too far! I was hoping not to catch it until I was feeling, umm more human like. Still being so sick and lame, I have all these creative juices flowing, but not an ounce of energy to do anything about it. And to further drain the little energy I have left, the bug decided to wake me up at 3:30am because it had another great idea! And it kept me up until 6am thinking about this great idea!
I NEED TO SLEEP NESTING BUG! ZOMBIES DO NOT DESIGN GORGEOUS ROOMS!!!!
I would show you a sneak preview, but I kinda don't want to spoil the surprise by showing you in little pieces. Let me make my design board first. Yes I think I am all pro, just like Sarah Richardson, and make design boards. Once the board is complete I will show you and you will LOVE!
But you are not here for design boards, no not today, today is for SHOES!
These are the shoes that I wore to my ultrasound. The shoes that caused me to trip over a blade of grass.

These are the shoes I have been wanting to wear all week, cause I love them. But the heels and the pain and the laziness has kept them safe in the closet.

These are the boots I am buying this weekend. Yes they are styleless and boring. But my soon to be bulging pregnant body will not be able to wear nice spiky heels, as the imbalance of this huge body would too easily topple over on such shoes as the Guess Whites. And since it will be winter here soon, I need a shoe I can wear to work, outside to meetings and one that is safe. I used to carry with me to work a pair of heels, then transfer into my boots when going outside and slip on the heels in the elevator before the meeting. That’s a lot of work for shoes. So I am going to buy a pair like this to just keep at the office. That I will wear everyday, for the reminder of this pregnancy. Oh the glamour.

So use the shoes as a mood ring.
Do you feel A) Happy and cute with the Rabbit Leopards B) Sexy and risky with the Guess Whites C) Safe, plain and practical with the Chunks?
I am all about C today, as I have worn my sneakers, yes real life running shoes, to work today.
Vote to have your fab shoes shown on the blogage next Friday!
A A A. Those are ca-yute! glad you're ok after tripping on the blade of grass...but those shoes might have just made it all worth it. You'd think with the animal print you'd be all smooth and lithe walking in them...like a tiger. sorry bad analogy..it's friday afterall.

I refuse to give in to the boot! Not sure if you heard about my boot disaster but was prepared to buy my bday treat of knee high boots with a kitten heel... pg has caused fattened calves and I can't zip said boots! I want to cry! I did cry!
But I still crave the cute, especially to go with my fab little black MATERNITY dress for my bday dinner Sunday night... So I vote A! They're so cute and fun!!!
Oh- and fix to the boot dilema... I'm going to buy a cute pair of mary janes instead.

I like the boots! I've been looking for a boring pair of boots that I can wear with anything.
