Yesterday Ayla became 11 months old. The last time her age will be referred to in months (I know some parents go farther and tell people they have a 19 month old etc, but my math skills just cannot make sense of that!).
Isn't that insane? Where did a YEAR go?
This first year of life is full of sooo much learning, more learning then we will probably ever have in a year. Right on the first day of life learning to breathe, eat, communicate, be comforted, be uncomfortable, so much for such a new brain. And then all the lessons that come with in a year, sitting up, rolling, playing, owies, teeth, eating solids, drinking from a bottle or sippy cup, crawling, talking, standing, maybe even walking! Endless learning. Shaping into a person with character and personality.
We like to call Ayla spicy. She has a little temper that's for sure!
So much growth, so much change. So amazing.
Oh Ayla, my almost one year old, what change and love you have brought to my life.
PS To celebrate Ayla just ate a peanut....no I did not give it to her. While writing this she was playing in the kitchen, found a bag of Ivy's trail mix, dumped it on the floor and ate a peanut. No reactions so far, so YAY!

So I know the changes here are minimal. I tried to go crazy with the change, but wasn't feeling it. I like the little changes here and think this is the look I will stick with for a while, tell the urge to change comes up again!
TODAY: No big plans again. I tested out the new hot tub yesterday at my parents house, wow was that nice! So today might be tackling landry and boring house tasks, we will see.

love the name spicy..can'tbelieve she is 11 months i want to come to her party:) spaghetti pic is great.

She is so beautiful. We call baby S a real "spitball" or "fiery." It is funny how differet there second babies are from our first ones, right?
Happy 11 months, Ayla.
