Today is the last day of her first year.
She was teaching me things before she was even born. From how incredibly painful and difficult labour truly is, to the moment you are a mother to one and in the next your heart has doubled in size and is overwhelmed with love and being a mother to two.
The happiest day of my life was due to her. Freshly born, we cuddled in my own bed, sun pouring in the window, friends and family visiting, a sense of peace and love and perfection like I have never felt. Those first few days were just BLISS, they were filled to the brim with magic and wonder and love.
So my now is her. Taking her in on this 364th day, in her 525 600th minute.

TODAY: Cleaning, wrapping presents, blowing balloons, preparing for a day to celebrate my one year old, Ayla Mei-Li Millis.
oh wow. I am feeling super emotion today (probably because its one week till Maicy's birthday) so that just brought me to tears. Enjoy your last day before she enters "year two"...it all goes by way too fast. Ok...now to stop crying. I must work.
