I am honoured you are here reading, but I write to help me deal, cope and relieve stress. I have to keep this my focus, or I will get lost in numbers, comments and hits. I do this for me.
Thank you for joining me.
Here I talk mostly about my life's adventures, the small ones like doing the laundry or the big ones like giving birth! I also have many hobbies and passions, room design, crafty projects and FOOD. We experiment with food, a lot. How to cook it, grow it, buy it and store it.
I try to post everyday (weekday) and I hope you find these words interesting.
A little about me and the fam:
I'm Alicia.
I do the writing around here. I mostly mother 2 small girls and am currently creating more life inside this womb. I keep pretty busy with creative adventures, friends and family.
Keith is my husband of 8 years! We are constantly learning how to better this marriage thing, and I think we are doing pretty good.
This is Ivy, our eldest. Ivy Marie Eleanor Millis. She was born April 26th 2009. She is a natural big sister, has the sweetest temperament and is an incredible artist with skills that often blow our minds.

This is Ayla, our second. Ayla Mei-Li Millis. Born on Feb 25 2011. She is SPICY, full of energy and life. She is crazy beyond smart, grasping letters, numbers and words way in advance to the norm. She keeps us busy.

We found out we were pregnant with our third baby on Sept 18th 2011. At our 8 week ultrasound we found out we had lost our sweet Glitter. On Oct 27th I had a D & C surgery to remove the remains, I was 9 weeks 1 day pregnant. Losing Glitter changed me in many ways. For more on Glitters story see the side bar, the feather charm link has all the information. We lost a second baby in August 2012, Shimmer, at 4 weeks. We only knew of her presence for a day.
On August 30th 2012 we finally got a sticky positive pregnany test, only a few weeks after losing Shimmer and after 1 year of trying for baby #3. Baby Glimmer is growing strong and is due May 12th (mothers day) 2013.
On December 17th 2012 we found out Glimmer is a BOY!! We had a amazing sex reveal cake cutting party with all our friends and family.

I have a pretty awesome life, I am learning to enjoy every moment and breathe in the good. I hope you enjoy reading this space as much as I enjoy writting in it.
